The New....or Maybe not so New

Ok, Miranda does wear more than just one-Z's. Here she is in one of her little dresses, which she's almost outgrown already. I've had to clean several things out of her closet already and some that she never even got a chance to wear. Time is just flying on by. She seemed to know she was all dressed up and had plenty of pretty smiles to go around. My little baby doll.

Here, Miranda is 8 weeks old. She just couldn't manage to keep her eyes open long enough for some awake pictures. She was just too tuckered out. She did manage to get a peek, but that's about it! So peaceful.

Here's some smiles from our little angel caught on camera. She really has a good time hearing us talk to her and make silly sounds. And of course we have a good time when she smiles. It just makes our day!

Happy happy are we! Thank the Lord, Miranda is RSV FREE! She got a great report from her doctor report after being told she had RSV. We are so thankful that she was able to get over this so quickly and with few complications with something that could have been so bad and lingered on for so long. Thank you for all the prayers!

Well, Biggie Schmall was wondering where her latest photo was, so in order to keep her from feeling left out, we will post one of her as well. She's been real attentive to Miranda for the most part. She's very curious about her and will sneak licks in when she is sure no one is looking. It's going to be interesting to see how things go when Miranda is able to walk and go after her!

Miranda loves to put one tiny finger on her face as though she is really thinking things over. She's our little thinker. No telling what she ends up coming up with either. Mabye before long she will just tell us.

Miranda is really starting to make alot of different expressions. This happens to be her "surprise" face. We get so tickled at her and sometimes I think that makes her do it all the more often. There are so many new things for her to hear and see and when she does, one of these faces is how she usually responds. We really have a good time with her.

Miranda's been sick with RSV. She's been doing her breathing treatments which take anywhere from 7 to 10 minutes. So far, she's done really well with it and has managed to stay in pretty good spirits despite not feeling the best. All the prayers are much appreciated. She definately needs them. She's been eating good and hasn't ran a fever so we are hoping to keep that going and get her over this really soon. She now weighs in at 10.4! Wow. Hopefully she won't loose any while she's sick. We are looking forward to her getting over this and feeling 100%!

Miranda is growing everyday, but she is still so tiny. Here is her hand on her dad's hand. Just a little size difference.

It's hard not to post every picture we take of her. We think they are all so cute. Here I just chose some pretty close ups of her face. Seems most of her pictures are of her asleep, but she really is spending much more time awake. I look forward to getting many more "awake" pictures soon.

She doesn't really like the headbands so we had to put it on her while she was half way asleep to tolerate it even for a few. She just looks so adorable in them though. She's such a little angel.

Could she be Daddy's little hunter? She doesn't seem to mind wearing one of his many camo hats. So we shall see. She's also got a camo dress that we'll have to get pictures of her in. She looks like she's ready to go scouting for the good spots to me.

Six weeks old. Mamaw got her to smile for her. She's really getting to where she is smiling alot as long as everything is going her way and she's in a good mood. We love to see that big smile of hers. They aren't always easy to catch on camera though, so we will post them when we get them. They are getting more and more frequent though. Woo hoo.

Here's Miranda all dressed up for an evening over at mamaw & papaw's. As you can see, usually once she gets in the car seat, it isn't long before the yawning starts and the eyes will close. But she did wake up once we got there for a little while. This was her first time to wear her little boots and now she's almost out grown them already.
