The New....or Maybe not so New

We can't hardly believe that our little angel will be four months old this week. In so many ways it has flown, yet there is still so much to come. She sure brings alot of happiness and smiles.

Here's Miranda on her new horse. This one is a little closer to her size, but is still quiet a bit too big for her. We just couldn't resist going ahead and getting it all put together so she can kinda sorta enjoy it now. I know she will have so much fun on this as I can remember how much fun I had on any springy horse. This is pretty neat. It doesn't have the old springs, but these big rubber bands basically. So that takes the fear away of the shooting springs that I know can happen once they get old. We once had a trampoline that was very good at shooting at us with the old rusty springs. So she can play safely on her horse and grow into the big ones that are waiting for her out in the pasture. And yes...she already has a pair of cowgirl boots waiting on her as well. Woo Hoo!

Ok. I know this is one of Miranda's burp cloths, but it just looked too cute as a headdress on her. In the first picture she was wondering what in the world was so funny to me. Then in the second picture, it looks as though she is telling me... "shhhh". She is so much fun.

Such a peaceful little look while she's sleeping. What more can I say. We love you little girl.

These are just pretty pics of her that I wanted to post for all to see. She can just about sit up by herself. It won't be much longer. She works hard to pull up and is so proud of herself once we help her up.

Here is Miranda in her little car walker. As you can see, her feet are no where near the floor yet, but she loves to sit in it and be pulled around. It plays music, has a moving steering wheel and has a horn so she's really enjoyed playing in it so far. I can't wait until she's pushing it around on her own with those little legs.

Here's our little peach with her mamaw and her great grandmaw. They had come by and I just had to get her picture taken with them. Notice the hat. That's something you won't see often. You can tell by the look on her precious face, she isn't pleased with it. But she did tolerate it for a few pictures. Then it was Away With the HAT

This was Easter Day with pictures of Miranda and her second cousin Andrew. Isn't he a beautiful little boy? We hope that they will get to do some playing together when they get a little older. They are only just a little over a month apart. Such sweet little babies.

Here are several Easter pictures of our precious angel. There were so many good pictures taken that it was hard to choose just a few. That and this blog will only allow so many per post. So I will just post several pictures of Easter day. We had so much fun bringing her to see many of her relatives that she'd not seen before. It was a bit overwhelming for her at first, but by the end of a day, she felt like a pro at it and was just fine with being around new people.

Well, you can tell when her Daddy gets ahold to the camera and her at the same time. He'd have her decked out in camo all the time if he could. This hat could almost be a full dress on her, but it's cute so I just had to post it. This pic is a good mix of her in the purple that I like to have her in and the camo that he likes her in. Goes good together don't ya think?

Miranda has officially reached the 3 month old mark. I can't believe how fast the time has flown by and how much she has changed and advanced. She is trying to pull up now any chance she gets. If you put your fingers down for her to grab on to, the little arms go to town trying to pull herself into an upright position. Then once she's done, she sighs like she has really accomplished so much. She brings such happiness into our lives daily.

Miranda recently graduated from one of her bassinets to a cradle that we bought for her. She really seems to like it (as long as she don't have to sleep in it). It's open where the bassinet was closed off on all sides. She can see what all is going on around her. There is no slipping by her now. She catches sight of everything...no matter how quiet you try to be. She is such a little sweetheart.

Miranda is getting so much better at her tummy time. However it's still her least favorite thing to do. She doesn't tolerate it for long, but she is doing good for the little time that she does spend. We would probably be in for all kinds of surprises if we knew what she was babbling when we put her on her tummy. She's so much fun.

We recently bought Miranda a new mobile with little horses and a cactus. These pics are of her smiling and laughing at it. She has really gotten to where she is laughing out loud alot these days. Some of the strangest things she finds funny. You never know what may strike her funny. I can just hear Todd telling her "Squeeze yer toes!"
