This is our 4 generation picture. It's not everyday that someone can get one of these made. Miranda and I are both very fortuante to have such wonderful mamaws! We really need to go have some professionally made since my camera blurs if there is any movement when the pictures are taken. Oh the fun of digital cameras.
Here Miranda is sitting in a desk that her mamaw painted up for the church. She wanted to get those animals off that ark so bad. She tried and tried. And when she just couldn't manage, she got pretty upset. She did not understand why she couldn't pick up those pretty, colorful animals. She did look so cute sitting up in there all by herself....so of course...more pics! And didn't the painting turn out good as well? Great job mom!

I love the expression on her face in this picture...so I couldn't resist posting it. She gets so happy when she accomplishes something on her own. In this picture she had just picked up that toy that had gotten dropped beside her and managed to bring it up to her face. She was so happy that she looked like it was the first time she'd seen that toy all day.

Miranda has her own unique way of getting around. She still doesn't like being on her stomach and is much more comfortable being on her back. So to get around, she bounces along by lifting herself with her legs and pushing off. In this picture you can see her scotting along her bed. She will scoot until she gets to the end. She can get amazingly far in a very short time doing this. Doesn't seem like it would be too comfortable to me, but she seems to perfer it to crawling on her stomach. It's really something to see her go! Once she figures out she can get somewhere faster on her tummy...watch out world...here she comes!

Here she is with a bow in her hair that managed to stay in there long enough for some pics to be taken. That was amazing in itself. But rest assured that since it stayed in there on it's own this time, as soon as she got a chance, she took it out herself. No hair accessories and no shoes please! That's her motto. Wonder if she will like purses? If she takes after me, probably not. We shall see.
